Abstract

|
We report one case of congenital hypoplasia of extensor tendons of the hand. A 28-year-old woman had visited the outpatient department of rehabilitation medicine with complaining of difficulties of extension of bilateral wrists, fingers and of fine motor control on hand. Diffuse thinning of tendons of extensor pollicis longus muscle, extensor indicis proprius muscle and extensor digitorum communis muscle except 5th finger was detected by ultrasonography and magnetic resonance image. We report this case with a brief review of related literatures.
